Google will bring over quite a few Pixel 7 features to Pixel 6 series phones

According to the provided info, Clear Calling is one of the features that will arrive in a future Pixel Feature Drop. What does it do? Well, it reduces background noise, so that you can talk without being distracted. Thanks to Google’s Tensor chip and the company’s software, you can also say “silence” to stop an incoming call on the Pixel 7 series. That phrase joins the previous ones (stop and snooze for alarm and timer). The “silence” command will also make its way to phones powered by the first-gen Tensor chip. The Guided Frame feature will also be transferred over. This feature essentially helps blind people, and those that can’t see well, to take a selfie. It gives out audio cues, and uses vibration to help out.

Real Tone improvements are also coming

Improvements that Google made to ‘Real Tone’ is also coming to previous phones. Tensor-powered Pixels should be even better at capturing the color of people’s skin now, when you’re taking pictures. This goes for Night Sight and Portrait Mode as well, not just for daylight shots. Spatial Audio for Pixel Buds Pro will also be available on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in the future. For those of you who are out of the loop, Spatial Audio essentially creates “3D surround sound”. The Audio Message Transcription feature will also transfer over to previous Tensor phones. Its job is to transcribe audio on the phone, and it seems to be working really well.

We’re still not sure about Face Unlock

Many of you probably want to know if the Face Unlock feature will make a switch. Well, Google did not want to disclose anything regarding that. It did not say yes or no, so we’ll have to wait and see. Do note that the next Pixel Feature Drop is coming in December. All of these features will probably be included.
