This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as YouTube has been adding some new features lately. There are some new colors that pop up on the top of the interface. Also, the company added a Discover section to the bottom of the home feed.

Now, there are some new features coming to YouTube Music for Wear OS

A new Wear OS blog post was just posted which explains these new features being added to Wear OS. They’re useful additions that will make using the app on your watch just a bit easier. The first feature will let you stream music using either Wi-Fi or your phone’s data. This is really convenient because when you’re streaming music from your watch, it’s usually via Bluetooth. However, if you stream using these other methods, you’ll be able to continue listening to music even while you’re away from your phone. This is a convenient feature, but you will obviously need to have a data plan for your phone. Also, this feature does not work for iPhones, unfortunately. The next feature is a dedicated “Recently played” tile for the watch. This means that when you tap on the tile, you’ll be taken right to the Recently played playlist in the app. This means that you won’t need to navigate to the app itself on the watch to find the playlist. These new features are rolling out now, so you should be able to see them right away. If you don’t see them, then you’ll need to wait just a bit more time. It takes time for certain features to make their way to different devices.
