These widgets adapt to your colors and style. They will adapt to your wallpaper’s dominant colors, says the company. They fully support Material You on Android 12+ devices. All the Smart Widgets the company added are “fully responsive” and they support more than 64 different sizes. So, they can adapt to your setup without a problem, you can fit them in anywhere, basically. Smart Launcher 6.1 brings the company’s first set of Smart Widgets. Those include New Clock & Weather, Music Player, Battery, Note, Calendar Events, and Compass. Smart Launcher Team did promise that more Smart Widgets are coming. Let’s take a closer look at the added widgets, starting with the battery one.
Battery Widget
As you can see in the provided image, there are various different styles you can choose from. Pick the shape and size that fit your screen, and keep track of your phone’s battery life in style.
Clock Widget
This clock widget doubles as a weather widget, a calendar widget, and an alarm. You can fit as much info as you want. If you need a really thin, horizontal widget with just the time and weather, you got it. If you need all the info in a gigantic widget, that’s not a problem either.
Music Widget
Smart Launcher’s music widget looks great. It is highly adaptive, so it will adapt to the song that is playing, basically. It’s also quite minimalistic at the same time, so that it can change in an instant.
Note Widget
Having a really nice widget for your notes is important. Regardless of how large your note is, if you need to put it on the home screen, this widget has you covered. You can place your shopping list, a page of a novel, or a simple sentence, it doesn’t really matter. There are a ton of sizes to choose from.
Calendar Events
The Smart Launcher Team also released a calendar widget that is very simple, and focuses on your events completely. As you can see, there are quite a few styles at your disposal.
Compass Widget
If you’re going camping or hiking often, you may need a compass. Well, how about a truly nice-looking compass that you can place on your homescreen. This one will definitely do the trick.
On top of all this, the company also included a brand new Widget Picker in this update, and quite a few UI/UX improvements. On top of all that, a number of bug fixes have also been issued.
