The company said in a blog post that Moto G22 would be available in “selected markets” across Europe, in addition to Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, and India. However, the smartphone’s launch date will differ based on the region. In line with the earlier leak, the Moto G22 features a 6.5-inch 1600 x 720 screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It sports MediaTek’s Helio G37 SoC which brings the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Users will also find 64GB of internal storage plus 4GB of RAM. Motorola says the internal storage is expandable up to 1TB using a compatible microSD card.

While the Moto G22 supports 15W fast charging, Motorola only offers a 10W charging adapter in the box. Users will appreciate the inclusion of water-repellent coating to protect the device from accidental splashes of water or rain. Customers have options between Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue color variants for the Moto G22. The smartphone will cost €169 ($185) in Europe, so it’s pretty reasonably priced considering the features onboard. It’s clear this phone won’t break benchmark scores or camera performance records. Nevertheless, it should be a decent addition to the highly crowded mid-range smartphone market across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. The company didn’t say if the Moto G22 would break cover North America.
