According to the new report, OnePlus will start with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in India in February. The phone has been frequently appearing in leaks lately and we were already expecting it to break cover soon. Based on the leaked info, it’s a decent mid-range smartphone in the making. Highlights of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 include a 90Hz AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast wired charging, a 64-megapixel triple camera setup, and 5G cellular connectivity. OnePlus will follow the mid-ranger with the launch of a more affordable OnePlus Nord N20 in Europe next month. Not much is known about this phone yet but it could be the Chinese brand’s entry-level 5G offering for 2022. It will succeed the Nord N10 that arrived back in October 2020. Finally, we will have the high-profile entry of the OnePlus 10 Pro in global markets in March. Launched in China last week, the latest OnePlus flagship will take a couple of months to go global. The same source had recently confirmed that a “private testing” of the phone has begun in India and Europe. Unfortunately, it didn’t shed any light on the OnePlus 10 Pro’s availability in the US. We hope to get a confirmation about it soon.

OnePlus will launch its unified OS based on Android 12 in April

The launch of these three phones will be followed by the arrival of OnePlus’ new unified OS based on Android 12 in April. The new OS will share the codebase with Oppo’s Color OS. If you remember, the two companies merged last year. In between all these launches, OnePlus will also release new smart TVs, at least one neckband with ANC (active noise cancellation), and a pair of TWS (true wireless) earbuds. So OnePlus fans have a lot to look forward to. That said, as with any other leak, we advise you to take this information with a grain of salt as things can change at any given time. We will keep you posted.
