The company just announced four new tablets, and they’ll each appeal to their own market. The Fire 8 HD is the base model, and it’s thinner and lighter than the last generation. Also, the tablet has a new hexacore SoC that makes it 30% faster than the last generation. It has an 8-inch HD display that uses aluminosilicate glass. This model has 2GB of RAM with it and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage, so it’s definitely good for downloading a few apps. If you need more storage, you can expand it up to 1TB. Next up, there’s the Fire 8 HD Plus. This device is similar to the base model, but it has a few specs that are better. For starters, it has 3GB of RAM. As for charging, it charges at 9W, and it also comes with wireless charging. The Fire 8 HD will cost $99.99, and the Plus model will cost $199.99 when it launches.
There are new tablets for kids as well
The Fire 8 HD Kids Pro is designed for kids who are a bit older. It’s designed for kids 6-12. Unlike the base model, this model will only have a 32GB model. Both models will cost $149.99 when they launch. As an added bonus, you can get these with a Disney Princess or Mickey Mouse case for $159.99.
